Maryland Crab Soup
Sunshine Grille's MD Crab Soup is a tomato-based soup with a decent amount of crab, potatoes, green beans, lima beans, peas, onion, carrots, and possibly corn and one to two other ingredients.
The spice used in the soup is more peppery than Old Bay-ish. The crab meat, while ther were some decent sized chunks, is mostly in strands. Vegetables have some decent flavor to them, but they're not screaming 'fresh'.
Overall, this was a very good soup. The crab meat has a decent flavor to it when singled out. The spice hits you on the back end, and has that low burn that intensifies as you eat, and lasts well after your last bite. Again, while the vegetables weren't quite fresh, they still tasted pretty good. The broth was probably our only low point of the soup, as it had a predominately tomato flavor and not of a crab stock. But everything works well together and creates a soup worth ordering.
