Liberatore's strated back in 1988 down in Eldersburg, with brothers, cousins, and dear family friends later opening their other locations. Each location reflects the original owner's unique personality and style, while remaining true to their dedication to authentic Italian cusine. In addition, they offer Maryland and local favorites as well, crab soup included! Read on to see how they represent!

Cream of Crab Soup

The cream of crab soup is thick and creamy, filled with small bits of crab and celery. Flecks of pepper are visible in the broth, and everything carries a very tasty aroma.

The broth is thick without being overly floury, and tastes like it has a chicken base. A hint of sherry hits you on the back end. The crab isn't overly sweet, but has a decent flavor when singled out. Other bits in the soup appear to be potato and onion, although celery and crab are the most noticable.

Overall, this was a very tasty soup! We would have liked to see a bit more Old Bay in the mix, but other than that, we'd recommend you grab a cup or bowl on your next visit!
